This is to inform all prospective candidates that the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening for those who selected Osun State University as their first choice, or those wishing to change their first choice to UNIOSUN, will take place.
Candidates must have a minimum score of 160. However, those who scored below 200 will not be eligible for admission into the following programs: Nursing, Medicine, Law, and Common and Islamic Law.
Candidates who selected any of these programs but scored below the required marks may opt to change to another program of their choice.
According to national policy, candidates who will be under the age of sixteen (16) as of December 31, 2024, should not apply.
APPLICATION FORM COMPLETION
Candidates are required to register online by visiting the University website: https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to fill out and submit an application. After submission, they should print two (2) copies of the application form.
DIRECT ENTRY APPLICANTS
Direct Entry candidates must complete the online form via the University website: https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng and ensure they are familiar with the university’s admission requirements before applying for any program.
They are also required to send their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University by Friday, October 4, 2024.
All Direct Entry candidates, including those in the UNIOSUN (IJMB, JUPEB) programs, wishing to gain admission for the 2024/2025 academic year must obtain a Direct Entry Form from JAMB and apply for the screening exercise.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
UNIOSUN will only admit candidates who have achieved at least five (5) Credit Passes in relevant subjects in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB across no more than two sittings, except for Medicine, Nursing, and Law, which require five (5) credit passes in one sitting. The University may accept a minimum of Lower Credit for Direct Entry candidates.
Candidates must accurately enter their information on the University Portal. Any candidate providing false information may face legal action, and their admission will be revoked upon discovery. Fees paid by candidates found to have falsified records/documents will not be refunded.
Candidates awaiting results must submit them within one week of their release. Participation in the screening exercise is mandatory for admission consideration.
CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS)
The 2024/2025 Admission Process will utilize the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), established by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) to streamline admissions to tertiary institutions. All candidates should upload their O’ Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a prerequisite for admission.
MEDICAL EXAMINATION
All admitted candidates will be required to undergo a mandatory medical examination, which will include drug use screening.
ACCESSING THE REGISTRATION PORTAL
Candidates can access the UNIOSUN Post UTME Portal at https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to reach the online Application Platform. It is crucial to read all registration guidelines and instructions thoroughly before registering.
The payment of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) as the Portal Access Fee and Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) for the Post UTME Screening can be made through the Remita Web PAY Platform using ATM cards (Master Card, Verve Card, and other REMITA-enabled cards).

The submission of UNIOSUN Post-Utme forms is 12:00 Noon on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
