Job Description
Are you ready for a dynamic role in the oil and gas industry? As an Account Officer – FPSO Operations, you will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of essential equipment, spare parts, and services for FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) operations. Your focus will be on cost-effective purchasing, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining seamless offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to ensure timely and cost-efficient acquisition of FPSO-related goods and services.
•Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and reliability for FPSO operations.
•Oversee the preparation of purchase orders, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations, ensuring optimal delivery schedules.
•Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and technical teams to ensure all procured materials meet industry standards.
•Manage vendor relationships, maintain an updated supplier database, and oversee contract execution.
•Monitor key procurement performance indicators, including supplier performance and on-time delivery rates.
•Track and manage inventory levels of FPSO operational materials to prevent shortages and delays.
•Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, industry regulations, and local/international supply chain requirements.
•Work closely with operations, maintenance, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs and optimize budget management.
•Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and availability of FPSO equipment and materials.
•Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement continuous improvements in procurement processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Academic Performance: Minimum of Second Class Upper.
•Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Technical Skills:
•Strong understanding of offshore operations, marine logistics, and oilfield equipment procurement.
•Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and international sourcing.
•Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or PEMSERP.
