The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) College of Nursing has officially released its Post UTME form for admission seekers. If you want to enroll for the 2024/2025 academic year and have met the cut-off mark, you can get the form.

 

Nursing Programmes Offered at the Obafemi Awolowo University College of Nursing

Students who are interested in enrolling in a nursing program at the Obafemi Awolowo University College of Nursing are at this moment invited. Below are the nursing programs that the institution is open to accepting applications.

 

National/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) in Nursing

This degree in nursing registration closes on the 15th of November, 2024. The mode of screening is Computer Based Test (CBT). Individuals are accorded between the 19th of November and the 20th of November for the test.

 

Requirements for this program

• Applicants must possess WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB with five credits in Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Applicants must have turned 16 years of age on or before November 2024.

 

Application Method

• One must have sat for UTME and obtained 180, the minimum score.
• One must have chosen either of OAU’s College of Nursing Sciences as its first choice.
• One must have sat for the subject combination including English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• One must be ready to be posted to either of the University college sites when offered admission.

 

Post UTME Screening Exercise for 2024/2025

• Post-UTME screening exercise will be held for those who met the minimum score of 180 and made either of the OAU Colleges of Nursing Science their first choice of institution.
• Candidates are required to have uploaded their results into the Jamb Caps.
• Candidates must visit www.oauthc.gov.ng to complete and submit their application. Submit the required documents and re-login to print out the screening schedule.
• Pay N2,000 for the Post UTME screening exercise and N13,000 for the portal access fee. These will cover access to the portal, checking for information, and printing the admission letter.

 

Post Basic Perioperative Nursing

Another nursing program that an individual can consider is this. It lasts for no longer than a year.

 

Requirements 

• WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB with five credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. 
• One must have registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.
• There is no combination of results when it comes to NABTEB.

 

Method of Application

The only approved method of applying for this nursing program is online. One must visit www.oauthc.gov.ng and pay N15,000. 

Endeavor to make your application before the 8th of November, 2024, which is fixed as the closing date.

 

Test and Selection Interview

An individual interested in this specific nursing program would be involved in a written test and oral interview. The schedule for these tests is as follows;

• Written test – 12th November, 2024
• Oral Interview – 13th November, 2024 to 14th November, 2024.
